I remember this movie!!! I watched it when I was in 2nd grade or so and I was crying like hell when it looked like the dog was going to die. I wouldn't be interested in watching it again, but it still made for a good childhood memory.
And that kid was a dick. Wanting to name his dog "Loser", and all.
