Soundtrack and quality choreography don't save musical from bizarre visual and uncomfortable performance of it's main stars. Burying a talented cast of actors, singers, and dancers behind so much digital makeup is Cats's big mistake.
Even with huge dance numbers, the hasty creation of digital bodies makes it clear that Hooper's movie would be better enjoyed with your eyes closed.
