Review of Cat People (1942) by Bill B — 26 Oct 2010
A nicely moody film about a young Serbian artist who falls for an American, yet lives with the fear that she will become a cat and kill in the throes of passion.
He goes along with this nonsense inasmuch as he sticks it out, hoping to find a way to disabuse her of this superstition.
It's worth your time more as a history lesson in film rather than any true suspense (at least by my estimation), so I'd say give it a whirl if you have the chance.
