Review of Cat People (1942) by Michael H — 30 Sep 2014
A Great Example Which Shows That You Don't Need On Screen Deaths Or Excessive Amounts Of Gore To Make A Good Horror Film. Cat People Is A Slow-Burn Horror Which Effectively Builds Up A Creepy Atmosphere, Which Shows It's Audience Very Little.
It Has A Good But Basic Plot, About A Serbian Woman, Who Believes Her Homeland's Myth About The Cat People. The Cat People Are Woman That Can Turn Into Panther's, The Change Can Be Brought On By Intimacy, Anger & Jealously.
With A Great Script, Average Performances & A Great Creepy Atmosphere, This Is Classic Horror At Almost It's Best, And A Gem For Fans Of The Original Style Horror.
