Excellent film relying solely on the actors skills to deliver a masterful script based on the play by Tennessee Williams (which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1955). Paul Newman, Liz Taylor and Burl Ives and an impeccable supporting cast. Directed by Richard Brooks. Received six Oscar nominations including Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Picture, Best Screenplay.
