I love love this movie. It's about brick (Paul Newman) a man who would rather drink and stay in his room than make love to his wife Maggie (Elizabeth Taylor). As Brick's secrets are revealed and his own heterosexuality is called into question (not as honestly in the movie as in the original play), Newman turns in a superb piece of acting.
Elizabeth Taylor is unforgettable as Maggie the cat. Tennessee Williams was a at his best, As were Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor.
