Review of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) by Antti R — 14 Mar 2008
Based on a Tennessee Williams' play, and starring Newman and Taylor. And my oh my oh my do the sparks fly! Such intensive acting is very rarely seen with Newman providing the most heartfelt moments.
It is one these films that has such a great screenplay and the actors to make it come alive that it doesn't really matter even if nothing really happens - you understand what I mean, I'm sure.
A great play & a great film.
