Some how I thought that I had seen this, and maybe did, but I saw it last night and was so impressed. other comments refer to the falseness of the last few minutes of the movie, and I agree, but it is a very hollywood movie, so the hollywood ending is almost a prerequisite.

anyway, seeing elizabeth taylor so crushed by her own desire for her husband, despite his coldness and distance, is pretty amazing. and paul newman is such a great troubled son.
