Review of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) by Jaakko-Juhana T — 28 Mar 2011
Tennessee Williams really had a way with words and relationships, and the film version of "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" is one of those often disregarded classics, with 6 Oscar noms and no wins. Still deserves another look as it is one of the best adaptations, with Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor, and folk singer Burl Ives in both manicly (is that spelled right? Seems wrong) restrained and explosive roles.
