Review of Casualties of War (1989) by Maico * — 16 Oct 2007

I read somewhere that this film was pretty good and Sean Penn's performance was excellent. Whoever wrote that was spot on. You should watch this film if only to see Sean Penn in action. He really is excellent.

Michael J Fox is brilliant as well. The plot is really solid and gives you an idea of the different horrors that soldiers had to go through during the Vietnam war and all the others as well. Good character for John Leguizamo to play and not quite his usually type of character but he did a pretty good job.

Brian De Palma is a brilliant director and he should be proud of this film.
