A very brutal depiction of a group of men's journey into animalistic behaviour against the backdrop of the Vietnam War.
Michael J. Fox is solid as the righteous solider, caught between morality and loyalty, and Sean Penn is frighteningly convincing as his bastardly superior.
Beautifully photographed with some graphic combat scenes and an uncountable spray of bullets, this isn't an easy film to sit through, but the quality of the production deems it a necessary one.
