A perfectly simple role for Tom Hanks to shine in. beautiful sounds and camera work. although he appears to be simply surviving Hanks always reminds us that love is the real reason his character is still alive.
perfect final two scenes with Helen Hunt and the long and wonderfully drawn out final piece of dialog.
