Review of Cast Away (2000) by Richard G — 12 Aug 2013
A bit late getting to see this one! Guess I was a little over Hank'd from the 90's. Engaging despite the long running time, but I loved the intro to his character as he isn't particularly likeable at first.
The end scenes were great in depicting the aftermath from such an ordeal. Interesting note - the producers gave a team of survival experts random items to work out how our protagonist might use them. And the idea of turning this into a TV series became the show 'Lost'.
