Review of Cast Away (2000) by Joaquin L — 27 Aug 2012
Every year I watch Cast Away because it truly is an inspirational movie that deals with our existence on this earth. Chuck Noland and the unopened FedEx package are allegories of us and our goals in life, sometimes at the end of our lives we deliver something, sometimes we don't know if that something is positive or negative, that's up to us and the consequences or our actions, that's the package's content!, brilliant.
Tom Hanks acting is superb as usual and only one director like Robert Semeckis could make you cry for a lost Wilson volleyball ball. The plane sequence is worth the price of admission. My rating 10/10.
