Review of Casshern (2004) by Ken O — 05 Jan 2009

Er... yeeeeeeeeessss.... it's ok. Looks good, with some pretty solid acting, but like a lot of Eastern films it gets wallowed up in some heavy sentimentilsim and 'self-inner-finding', really bringing the whole thing to a grinding stop at some points. The fight scenes are ok, but have been done much, much better elsewehere.

Still, it's worth checking out if you got a spare 2 hours and 20 mins...
