Review of Cassandra's Dream (2007) by Steve M — 16 Feb 2009
Tightly made drama which build in intensity as the film goes on. Its been hard for me to get past the Woody Allen "problem," but there have been a lot worse people who have done some great things.
The brothers are strangely, robotically compelled to step over the line and its interesting to see the two handle their shared guilt in different ways. The ending is abrupt and not wholly satisfying, but the tension is so well down that you get over the ending quickly.
I was dissapointed that the DVD didn't have any commentary.
