It's an okay noirish thriller. Its completely devoid of humor, and the dialog has that peculiar Allen flavor that is effective but unrealistic, particularly for Brits. McGregor is very good, but I thought Farrell should have dialed back his performance.
He seemed more coke-addled than scared or wracked with guilt.
