Review of Casino Royale (2006) by Kim B — 29 Nov 2015

Great action movie with ton of fighting and a couple chase scenes. A sophisticated and grown up bond movie with less cheese and fun and instead more drama and emotion. Not too many gadgets or laughs in this version.

The cinematography is beautiful (lots of foreign cars, foreign women, and foreign locales) the acting is done well, script is smart, costumes are good, and it is just a nicely detailed slick movie with plot twists galore.

Daniel Craig is a great bond and this is the best out of the series.
