Review of Casino Jack (2010) by Steven W — 17 Dec 2010

For those of us familiar with the story of the rise and fall of Jack Abramoff, the events of "Casino Jack" will seem old hat. It's in the performance of Kevin Spacey that there are rewards to be collected.

His turn as Abramoff is forceful, insightful, and downright brilliant, and he is surrounded by supporting players who recognize this and follow suit. Seeing this for the acting alone is worth it; as it turns out, the plot is very engaging as well.
