Review of Casino Jack (2010) by Bennett W — 10 May 2011

First of all, this was supposed to be serious or funny? Was this film a way to study USA a bit more? I dunno, but I just feel is just another regular film with it's problems (and that includes actors and actresses who did not inspired me at all, or did not enjoy their roles).

Plot: Jack parlays his clout over some of the world's most powerful men with the goal of creating a personal empire of wealth and influence. When the two enlist a mob-connected buddy to help with one of their illegal schemes, they soon find themselves in over their heads, entrenched in a world of mafia assassins, murder and a scandal. How this will end? Check the film if your studying history of US, if not, don't.

Acting and Music: I don't feel in the need of talking of both things so I united them. In acting, the only one who give it all on his role was Kevin as Jack. The rest of the cast did not inspired, maybe their roles were not awesome (well, politics lifes are boring as hell, who would love to portrayed them?). So, one star for the effort, and the other star for the music. It was ok for the film, but it wasn't enough.
