Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese are no doubt masters in what they do best and together brought us so many classics. This may not be at the same level as there other works, but it's still a great film.

Casino is basically about the greed, deception, money, power, and murder occurring between two mobster best friends and a trophy wife over a gambling empire. Without going into too much detail in the story itself, I did enjoy it structure. Though the first half of the movie mostly consist of narration from the great Robert De Niro and the sometime annoying Joe Pesci in which they tell us everything that's happening instead of letting the movie unfold for itself. I also prefer the second halve of the movie too as it didn't consist of too much music like the first halve and the story was being unfold instead of the characters telling us everything that's was going on. The story in the movie is brilliantly told and gets better as it go it goes. While it doesn't hold a candle to other of Scorsese and De Niro collaborations, it still provide the same entertainment.

Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci make a great pair in this movie and are easily the best part of the movie. They're great when they on screen together and they're great when they have there own individual scenes. Now Sharon Stone herself is also good, but I felt her character could've been written a little better. Nonetheless the cast does a great job, the same could be said about Scorsese direction. He does a flawless job behind the camera and tells a story in the most effective way possible.

Casino is another great film from the collaboration of a great actor and a great director. Casino is definitively worth a watch for anyone who enjoy a well told story and terrific actors who give great performances.
