Review of Casino (1995) by Blake H — 14 Jan 2013
A flawed, emotionally draining Scorsese masterpiece. Everything about it is sheer perfection except for two major flaws: too long and too much narration. It just feels way overblown in the end. Cut it down by about 30 minutes and fix those problems and you have a modern masterpiece that ranks up there with the much superior "GoodFellas".
