Review of Casino (1995) by Voodoo123 — 17 Sep 2019
Great cast deliver memorable performances in the usual Scorcese style. As enjoyable as the film can be, the whole eperience feels like one long expositionary moment after another. Next to its contemporaries from this 90's era the film has not aged well and the pacing suffers with weak visual FX, lacklustre plot and under cooked dialogue with most of the screenplay delivered by character narration.
.. Sharon Stone delivers one of her best performances here with Pesci and Deniro doing what they are famous for well. Worth watching if you're a genre fan.
