Review of Cashback (2007) by Mike S — 08 Feb 2009
Felt a lot longer then it was, but it was incredibly relatable. The only scene that was questionable was the odd hooded figure horror moment that was quickly dispatched as an afterthought, but even that had it's purpose in a way. The movie provides fairly fleshed-out characters, a great angle for it's main character, and a love interest that's kept at a fairly modest yet predictable arm's length until the end (the ending, while I'm on the subject, is romantic but really boring... didn't use it's angle at all to it's advantage).
I would definitely recommend purchase of this movie to anyone. Very funny, heartfelt, and interesting enough to keep you going.
