Review of Case 39 (2009) by Clint D — 20 Mar 2011
Not much to like about Case 39, it literally takes over an hour to even set up and let the audience have any clue what the storyline will be and then once you know, you don't care either way. Jodelle Ferland did a fine job as Lily, maintaining that balance of creepy and cute that kids can have and Ian McShane keeps the movie watchable but then you get to the ending and it's like, okay.
..so what now?
