Review of Casa de Mi Padre (2012) by Danie S — 21 Jul 2012
Ridiculous movie, the first scene you can tell it purely made for laughs and not any seriousness. It is quite funny even though it is almost all subtitles and Will Ferrell and his awkward and hilarious weird one-liners still shine through.
The story is simple, Mexican drug war with a girl wanted by all sides. The stuffed mountain lion actually added to the humour and wasn't as silly to be ridiculous. If you can look past the obvious barriers and you are a Ferrell fan it is good for the laughs.
If that isn't your brand of humour, you'll probably hate this one.
