Review of Carving a Life (2017) by David Z — 09 Feb 2018

This is a movie that deals with alcohol addiction and the destructive nature of those who indulge in to much alcohol and how it affects the people around them. A lot of the times movies like these can go either way one is to maudlin and melodramatic or something more along the lines of leaving Las Vegas.

Thankfully this project leans towards the latter with strong performances by both leads.
