I absolutely loved the first movie's charm and message. I was quite young when I watched the first movie and was still a kid when I watched the second one. Although I did enjoy seeing my favorite characters again, the movie wasn't nearly as charming and I didn't understand any of the plot until I recently watched the movie last week.
Lightning was my favorite character and I wanted him to make a heartwarming return but instead the focus of the movie was on Mater. Overall, I didn't enjoy the movie very much but I'm glad they are attempting to go back to their roots with Cars 3.
