Cars 2 is enjoyable, no doubting it but with that comes complete stupidity. We watch the first film trying to like Lightning, then we do eventually like and appreciate Lightning McQueen in the end, then Cars 2 comes along and makes Mater (a slightly irritating character voiced by Larry the Cable Guy, which says a lot) the main character.
This is a spy movie, not a race movie which is sad because the movie is about Cars. They make the World of Cars look weird and is a total insult to the Cars Trilogy. Luckily Cars 3 ignores the events of this movie.
