Though I've been avoiding this film like the plague, as I have such high expectations for Pixar and I'd heard this film was extremely subpar, I feel critics base their scores solely in comparison to other Pixar films.
No, this film wasn't in-depth or anything, but it was entertaining, and it's a fun time. Interestingly, I thought I would absolutely loathe this film because I didn't even like the first Cars very much.
If anything, this is an improvement.
