It's no 'Cars'. Cars is one of the best animated movies. It's just a great movie. Cars 2 is an attempt to make money off the brand. It appears to me that Dreamworks did 'Cars' while Disney did 'Cars2'.
The first movie is great for my children. They love the story and there's no violence or scary parts. Cars2 is all about 'Kill him!' And the story is just a James Bond parody. Big disconnect.
With all that said, Cars2 is decent and worth watching.
