I never had a movie take me back to situations or experiences that I've been through then "Carol". I appreciate it so much. The story of a sophisticated older woman that catches the attention of a younger woman and a bond develops leading to their first sexual experience.
They storyline is compelling to say the least. During the movie you wait for the moment they become more then friends (intercourse) but it when it happens its at the right time and place in the movie.
Other significant situations happen during the movie that makes the story all the more better. Cate Blanchett (Carol) is awesome in the movie and Roony Mara (Therese) is great too. A must see.
