Outstanding, emotionally overwhelming movie that captures the essence of the early 1950s and the storms that erupt around falling in love. It is an homage, as well, to the essence of "Brief Encounter", "Sunset Boulevard", and "Now, Voyager" where affect and silence communicate more than mere words.
