Review of Carnal Knowledge (1971) by Brian B — 07 Jun 2009
A talky, oddly stage-bound film (though it's not based on a stage play) that features crackling dialogue and fine acting but it may leave viewers cold on a emotional level, as no one, not even the women, are especially likable or sympathetic and the plot is episodic preventing the film from gaining much momentum.
