Review of Carnage (2014) by Allan N — 12 Aug 2012
You don't often find a film fall within the comedy genre and be one continuous scene; at least not in the movie theater. I felt some anxiety at first but that is obviously the intent of the director.
By about 30 minutes into the film you really feel like you relate to the characters, all of them, at one point or another. And without being a spoiler I can tell you that towards the end they all bluntly point out eachother's faults in a such a way that by stating this within this review.
Why? B/c the acting is fantastic. You wouldn't think that a goof from the ballad of Ricky Bobby could act sooooo well. Any Jodi Foster is fantastic in this, despite my disinterst in movies such as Contact.
