Review of Carnage (2002) by Tim C — 16 May 2012
While a decent movie it's clear that this story was better suited for the stage. The entire movie takes place in one apartment with these four characters. Roman Polanski has assembled a dream team of Oscar winners to tell this story.
The movies strength is the interactions between these talents. They all do a good job with the stand out being Jodi Foster who plays the most repellent character in her long career. In fact all the characters and even the situation itself is unpleasant which can make it hard to watch but also darkly funny.
