A gr8 gangster tale.. there is so much going on in this film..
Essentially it is a man trying to run from his past and the inevitable..
I think Pacino is awsome in this role as Carlito Brigante ex Puerto Rican drug dealer.
Who is released from prison early by his dubious lawyer Kleinfeld played by Sean Penn.
It is an intensley involving film and Penelope Ann Miller plays a lovely part as Brigante s girl.Who has realised the emptiness of a . dream.. A must see film, and the chase through the subway is a fansastic climax. First rate acting.
