The first third of this film is where its Achilles' heel lies due to the awfully predictable setup and little promises in something endearing or clever, but give it some time and 'Cargo' does reveal its endearing narrative and clever characters who work well off one another in telling a different and solid zombie story.
Praise to Martin Freeman in successfully tackling his most serious and intense performance to date.
