Review of Caramel (2007) by Firas E — 30 Apr 2008
A very warm and lovely film. It tells in such a gentle and light way the lives of different women meeting at hairdresser's salon. A warm portrait of the life of modern Lebanese women. Alas, I was not able to watch all of it as the film broke while being projected.
Only I know that gave the spectators with me in the cinema such a good and communicative mood I seldom see. I'll watch the rest on DVD as I want to listen to it in Arabic.I did not like the German dubbed version.
Beautiful actresses, lighting and photography.
