Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Kate T — 29 Jun 2008
A breathtaking film. A seemingly normal middle class family's lives are all but shattered by accuastions that the Father and one of the 3 sons have commited a horrible crime. Home movies shot by the Friedman's show us the how the family starts to fall apart during and after the trial of Father and Son.
Did they really do what they were accused of? This movie does not judge, and it is left up to us, the viewers, to decide if they are guilty or not. A must see.
