Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Yuriati T — 05 Feb 2011
A riveting, emotional, and a very powerful documentary. It was well made and a well balanced documentary with plenty of counteracting evidence, though the plot might seem a little bit odd and disturbing.
The documentary brought us to experience the dysfunctional life of the Friedmans, from the happier childhood to the time when the whole family fell apart. As the case unfolds, we might actually realize that it was a complicated case.
It is amazing to see how a seemingly happy family could bury so much secrets.
