Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by Michael M — 03 Aug 2004
I'm not normally much of a documentary watcher but nothing was on TV and we saw this as one of the selections on HBO OnDemand and figured we would watch it.
I thought it was an extremely well done documentary. At times it was hard to watch the deterioration of the family and I don't believe the offenses ever happened. I mean come on, how could this go on for so long without any of the parents noticing anything. In the end the accusations cost one person his life and another guy 13 years of his life. Another example of how the justice system is broken.
Better than the last two documentarys I saw but then those were done by a spotlight seeking hack.
