The kidnapping wasn't exactly realistic. In the real world, the victim woulnd't be free to roam around. Real kidnappers and abductors just wouldn't take that chance. But I did like the twist on teh plot, although for some reason I guessed that early on.
And the torture scenes were pretty intense and realistic. Still, a good movie.
