Saw it. worth seeing. I was rooting for Captive, it was good at being true to actual events. but I was expecting more. there was no humor, no slang. Just dialog that moved the story along. And nothing more.
It would have been so much better if There was more story of her internal talk of why she said no to taking the drugs. There was no dialog about Her saying maybe his purpose should go to prison so you can help people in prison.
It would have made letting her go more believable. I know it was a lot of work and outside influences can meddle with things but I say go for it and damn the torpedoes full speed ahead. Otherwise I thought it moved along well.
I thought the female lead was stiff but the male lead was great. Its a directors call too. I was expecting a tear jerker. but it wasn't. glad it was made. The script needed a clean comic to Punch it up.
