It grows on you after a while, but, man, Spencer Tracy was in and out of that "Portuguese accent" a lot. I can't believe he won Best Actor for this. He was good with the emotional stuff, but that accent kinda killed it.
Freddie Bartholomew was good after a while, but really annoying at times, too.
