Review of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017) by Freedomfighters — 19 Jun 2017

I'll be completely honest here and say that I didn't read the "Captain Underpants" book that much when I was a kid. I read some of the first book, and a little bit of "The Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants," but otherwise, I went into this film not knowing much.

Thankfully, I walked away extremely satisfied. "Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" is DreamWorks to the core, but in this case, it works: it's hilarious, it's well-written, the animation is great, and the characters are extremely memorable.

Regardless of your personal enjoyment for the books, "Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" is a great film that's well worth watching.
