Tom Hanks does a great job of recreating the dark adventure of Captain Phillips and what he goes through on the Maersk Alabama in 2009. It's intense, smart and powerfully acted. Unlucky to not win a Oscar but never the less he did the job.
But in the end nobody will ever be able to recreate what Captain Richard Phillips went through.
