Review of Captain Fantastic (2016) by Autumn A — 02 Nov 2016
A movie that makes you think in age where most are begging you not to. I enjoyed the hard questions surrounding society and parenting. Final result was a confusing one as it seemed to be quite a bit more moderate and molded to society than would be comfortable/permissible for the father.
I really appreciated the performance and portrayal of the family; judgmental and high and mighty, how they would actually be in real life. Some of the most refreshing and new ideas in cinema I have seen.
