Review of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) by Yellowkirby — 26 Nov 2015
Unlike most superhero films, which are usually all the same, Captain America: The First Avenger goes in a different direction; instead of making an over-the-top CGI blockbuster filled with explosions and cars being hurled across the street, it takes us back to the days of World War II, and lessens the typical super-hero action considerably, replacing it with more old-fashioned gun-fights and car chases. But that doesn't make the movie any less enjoyable, but instead makes it fun and memorable, more so than your normal every-day action flick.
Although not as good as Guardians of the Galaxy, The First Avenger proves to be one of the better Marvel movies.
