Review of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) by Jiashu X — 17 Jul 2014
Chris Evans fits the lead role like a skintight superhero outfit, playing both the undersized Brooklyn kid and the confident, imposing hero of America with an effortless grace. The World War II setting is highly immersive, and Steve Rogers' character dynamic with Bucky, Agent Carter, and Howard Stark feel genuine and greatly likeable.
While the plot does have its patchy moments, The final product is to be praised for its razor-sharp execution.
